We have a very dedicated and diverse team at Girls in Charge, including a talented and experienced board of Non-Executive Directors.
You may notice faces on here change but that's simply because we have a hiring ethos of mutual benefit: we want to offer people the platform and opportunity to grow and develop whilst in turn, supporting our growth and further impacting more women. Our past team members have gone on to do fantastic things, from setting up their own businesses to working at some of the most influential companies in the world.

Maggie Chen
CEO & Co-Founder
Maggie works across across entrepreneurship, governance, and academia. She started her first company whilst a fresher at university in 2015, and now owns 3 companies. She serves on the Ethics Panel of Cheshire Police and on the Business Advisory Board of the Cheshire and Warrington region where she shapes the youth engagement and skills agenda. In academia, she has designed modules and tutored at several institutions, including Stanford, Bayes Business School, University of Chester, and given guest lectures internationally. Her doctoral thesis explored the media representation of entrepreneurship and the audience reception of sustainable ventures.
