Programme

This online learning experience has been holistically designed to teach participants leadership and presentation skills. This part-time programme is ideal to complete alongside university studies or full-time employment (please see the Time Commitment section for further details).

Leadership Trainees (LTs) will learn how to facilitate breakout rooms within our centrally-run online workshops as hands-on leadership experience, alongside completing the online programme. At the conclusion of the programme, LTs will attend a career development session where they will receive feedback on their progress, as well as having the opportunity to network. 

​

The application window for the LTP is open until Wednesday 14th February 2024.

The programme itself will run from February to March 2024 with the first session being held at 6pm for one hour on Thursday 15th February 2024.

Workshops in Term 2 of our Programme include: 

  • Starting a Side Hustle

  • Marketing as a Superpower

  • Networking Effectively

Online Sessions via Zoom: 6-7 hours (approx.)

Independent Reading and Preparation: 2-3 hours (approx.)

 

This part-time programme has been designed with university students in mind and as such has limited participation hours.

What we are looking for in an applicant: 

  • Ambitious individuals with an enthusiastic and energetic personality

  • Logical aptitude 

  • Disciplined personal management skills - can work to deadlines independently

  • Ability to communicate with a willingness to build strong working relationships

  • A passion for gender equality and awareness of gender equality issues

  • An interest in developing their own entrepreneurship/business skills 

 

Desirable but not essential characteristics: 

  • Applicants currently enrolled at university 

 

We will select up to fifty applicants per term to participate in this programme.
